Lough Arrow is our favourite location to begin a Wilderness expedition.  Exploring the lake silently by Canadian Canoe we get to witness the natural habitat undisturbed.  This is a lake of outstanding natural beauty and protected as a Special Area of Conservation by National Parks and Wildlife Services.  We stop on one of the islands for a picnic.  Paddle around and jump into the lake.  A great opportunity to escape from the stresses of life and relax in the natural surroundings maybe even bathe in the pure crystal clear waters before returning  Canadian Canoeing can be as energetic as you would like it to be.  Canadian Canoes travel easier and faster and they are less strenuous and suit the more relaxed adventurer.

Wilderness Camping Expeditions by Canadian Canoe
All Instructors, equipment and gear provided.  Locatiion Lough Key Forest Park.  Experience the freedom and stress free Wilderness Camping Expeditions to uninhabited islands dotted on Lough Key and down the Boyle river.  Take 1 or 2 nights camping along the river and paddleing down stream by day.  Sit by the bonfire at night singing songs and telling stories,  let the sounds of nature prevail.   Cook or have lunch and dinner supplied.

Shannon River
Take a Wilderness Expedition by Canadian Canoe down the lazy Shannon River from Drumshanbo to Battle bridge.  Follow the trail of the King Fisher.  See the swans take to the air beside you. Stop by the riverbank to have lunch and watch the prehistoric Craines and Herons take you back in time. Escape from all the noise pollution and confusion take time to relax on the river with nature.

Lower Boyle River
Travel from Lough Key Forest Park downstream on the Boyle river passing through the tiny villages of Knockvicar and Cootehall  to Drumharlow Lake.  Taking in the changing scenery and beautiful surroundings on the journey by Canadian Canoe.
